We are very proud and delighted to announce that our North American publisher is Acclaim!
Acclaim is impressed by the work and dedication that has been put into The Chronicles of Spellborn and is looking forward to releasing TCoS in North America! You can read the press release here.

Spellborn wants you!

As announced previously this week, The Chronicles of Spellborn is attending the Games Convention in Germany. Since we’re still looking for skilled people to join our team of developers, what better opportunity is there to drop your portfolio right at our booth?
There will always be a couple of developers around to accept it and take it back to the TCoS HQ so we can have a good look at it and see if you have what it takes to join our ranks.
So go grab your material, burn it on a CD, DVD or print it! Put all of that into a nice folder together with your CV and give the whole package to us at the GC and maybe we will send you an Art test or invite you for an interview.
So, what are we exactly looking for? Well, there is a list of developers we are looking for, but if your dream job is not on that list and you still think you can contribute to TCoS then you are also more then welcome to share your portfolio with us or contact us over at jobs[at]tcos.com (replace [at] by @).

In addition to today’s new Lore piece, we are kicking off a new contest!
You, TCoS fans, can now win one of 15 one-day tickets for the Games Convention 2008 and a Spellborn t-shirt. We are showcasing The Chronicles of Spellborn at the international games exhibition from 21st to 24th August in Leipzig, Germany at our stand A10 in Hall 5. To win your access to a first tour through the previously unrevealed zone Cairnkegg on Ringfell and cross swords against other players in the Quarterstone Arena you need to answer this simple question:

Spellborn at the Games Convention 2008 in Leipzig (Germany)!

The waiting time is nearly over, the final stage is set and The Chronicles of Spellborn will be present again at the Games Convention 2008 in Leipzig (Germany). From the 21th till 24th of August you can get the chance to take a look at the never before shown region of Cairnkegg on Ringfell as well as fight in Arena PvP matches against each other. In cooperation with Ultraforce and iiyama there are 16 high tech and special designed gaming machines at booth A 10 from Frogster Interactive within Hall 5 available for playing Spellborn. There will also be several presentations going on, with guests from the developers, like the German game designer Sven Ehrentraut, who will hold presentations on the Spellborn booth.
Members from the community team as well as several employees of Spellborn will be present at the Convention to answer your questions and hand out new information. Like always, you will also have the chance to get some cool merchandise, as well as participate in the competitions with cool prizes, such as Spellborn branded PC, Spellborn PC cases from Ultraforce and a 22 inch flat screen from iiyama.
Members of the media and business contacts can meet several developers in the Business Center Hall 2 at booth F79. They will be led through a special preview from a mid level ranged quest line and get to see another special feature of Spellborn, which hasn't been shown before.
The Games Convention will be held from 21th till 24th of August in Leipzig (Germany).
